Easter moon

Today is a special day, the full moon for Easter and the first of the three great spiritual festivals.  In a month's time it will be Wesak, and then the Chrisat Festival at the end of May.  These full moons and this time are the highlight of the spiritual year, and to mark it I will offer a guided meditation each month through the website.  The meditation for Easter is available in the Members' section now.  If you feel drawn to do it, I hope you will find it illuminating.

This is always a bittersweet time.  The perfection of the story of the life and death of Jesus, with so much to be grateful for, can be overshadowed by the emotion of so many people who grieve still.  The energy of that grief has accumulated over millennia.  It is powerful and can be destabilising.   It is as if the world rocks for a few days, and then everything becomes calm again.  This year, even the weather reflects the sadness of what was and what might have been.  Can you imagine how it would be if humanity was in a state of celebration about the Easter story?  Can you imagine how it would be if humanity was in a permanent state of celebration?   What would the weather be like then?
