Water in a Changing World
Water is the potent symbol of the polarisation of our beloved Planet. It is the hallmark of our world in transition. Honour it, please.
I write often, in my blogs and elsewhere, of water and it surprises me each time I am called so to do, aware of the recurrence of this theme. Water is in my life, it is my life, in the reminders from the weather and the constant presence of the great River Wye flowing around my home, in the water that I drink from deep underground rivers and in my dreams which tell me, over and over again of the importance of the element of water.
We cannot live without it, you and I, but an excess of water can kill us. We are a planet of water and have bodies of water but man abuses the water that sustains him and keeps him alive. How can this be? Man, each time that this occurs, this abuse of his life, is creating karma, a debt that one day will be claimed.
Our Welsh lands are sodden, but I give thanks for the water that fills our rivers and ensures spring growth and abundance, remembering as I do those parts of the Planet which now have lost the ability to hold life. This too is polarisation. As I write, heavy rainfall is forecast over Britain, and more will be coming over the weeks and months ahead…and in many countries besides this, my home land. It does not have to be destructive, if the water is honoured and appreciated for all that it is.
Water on Earth, in excess, is the tears of Gaia for the carelessness of Man. She has been our friend since time began on Earth, and She can be so again….but that is up to Man. The choice is easy if man will see it.
