EU and SA Today: Spiritual Significance in Action

With the schism within the EU now acknowledged publicly after David Cameron's refusal, last night in Brussels, to comply with the fiscal/federalist agenda of France and Germany, the unravelling of an out-dated political culture has begun in earnest. Interesting times lie ahead, of spiritual significance, but meanwhile events of equal, at least, importance are occurring largely unnoticed at the UN climate conference in South Africa.

If we remember that outcome follows thought, I invite you to remember the efforts of committed men and women from countries rich and poor who are gathered to achieve what is possible to help the Planet. Please wish them well in their endeavours, particularly since their concerns and good intent are not universally shared by those who are negotiating.

As the foundations of our world are being swept away, a new era of fluidity and uncertainty is coming in which will include new discoveries and occurrences, some of which will shock by their unexpectedness. Layers of complacent assumption are being removed, steadily and inexorably. Established institutions will disappear, and core values will be strengthened which is greatly to be welcomed. So, see this as a time, indeed, of spiritual growth everywhere - and one where what is in your heart and prayers can change outcomes marvellously.
