Learning about the sun

My heart swelled with satisfaction yesterday when I heard about a satellite which is being launched to monitor and explore the sun.  It will take a picture every three quarters of a second in an attempt to find out more about it, and its impact and relationship with earth.

Our survival now depends upon the sun, and the sun will become ever more important as we learn to work with it to assist us with communication, travel, technology and energy needs.  This NASA project will have amazing results, if interpreted with vision,and could pave the way to innovative developments that will transform the way we live. Wonderful.
