The Divine Experiment

Our planet is, within our solar system, a place of divine experiment based on human choice and free will, and just as it has a body so also it has a soul, Gaia.

Your soul tells you through physical expression when it is out of balance and similarly Gaia speaks to us when through our actions She is in need of attention, and yesterday's earthquake on the east coast of America reminded me once again that the soul of Earth is ill at ease. There will be more such reminders until we are forced to notice and respond - and we will.

Our lessons as taught by Gaia are hard but necessary ones, and while there may be cosmic influence on events they will come, mostly, from within, from Earth Herself to help us learn and from within each of us also. Within this relationship it is She who has the strength, the power and the indestructibility despite the efforts of Man to dominate the world of nature; it cannot be done, and Man is starting to see this as the force of the elements - earth, air, fire, water and Spirit - becomes ever stronger and more conspicuous.

Experiments, divine or otherwise, always come to an end, and the ending of the experiment of which you are centre-stage is within sight. The outcome, to me, is clear but Man's place in the last phases of its history is not. Gaia will continue to speak, however, and what She says will tell us how well, in the end, we have performed in the greatest experiment there could be.
