Healing Karma?

Written by Claire Montanaro.

Seeing a place or a person which is suffering can inspire an automatic desire to give healing somehow, to put it right, but to do so can confuse the energies of the situation and be counter-productive, however well-intentioned.

Everyone has the power to heal, and some people are very powerful healers indeed, doing remarkable work in their chosen field. With power comes responsibility, however, and it is important to honour the recognition that healing is a mutual process: the patient (or guardian on their behalf if it is a child or animal) must want to be healed, must ask or agree to be healed, and has accountability for what happens from it.

Few countries on earth do not carry karma within them and some locations have grave karmic memory within their energy field, such as the battlefields of the First World War, Israel and Palestine, Cathar country in southern France, and Pompeii. As humans we carry our own emotional scars from past life experience also, and it is for us to resolve that karma, no-one else: this applies to all souls whether it is the soul of an animal group that has been abused, the soul of a mountain that has been dynamited open or the soul of Beziers, scene of great religious massacres in the Middle Ages.

To send directed and intentional healing to any place can change its energy field and runs the risk of interfering with its karmic mission. There are exceptions to this, and some people such as shamans are able to communicate with the nature elements and receive guidance as to what is needed to be done in detailed and precise terms. To send healing blindly based on subjective assumptions can cause harm.

It does not mean that we have to be passive! To have the wish to help an area or even a house which has damaged energies is wonderful, but I suggest, unless we know what we are doing, it is done through opening the heart and sending love and light wherever it is best for it to go, without our directing it or expecting a particular outcome. It is how I work in such situations, for this way we are leaving it to Spirit, and what could be better than that?

I write about karma in detail in my book Spiritual Wisdom.

A Universal Law...

The Law of Grace.  Under the Law of Grace, if you are focused on your spiritual work, on healing, on trying to your best in some respect or other, then the purity of your intent can waive something that would otherwise have been karmic.

Testimonials...

"I recently bought one of Claire's Elixirs and I am extremely impressed by the product. It arrived in the post beautifully packaged, and as I held it, I could instantly feel the love and good intention that was sent with it. I waited until I was ready to meditate and then sampled the elixir. The taste was subtle but powerful. The action of using the elixir made my meditation even more vivid and its effect stayed with me all day.  Highly recommended!"
