Mother of the World

Each of us is a mixture of masculine and feminine energies, and one of the key tests of being human is learning to achieve a perfect balance between the positive qualities these energies represent. I am not talking here about gender.

The male qualities may be strength, wisdom, leadership, openness, friendship, achievement, purpose and love-in-action. The feminine attributes can be mystery, creativity, nurturing, compassion, gentleness, healing, and total connectedness with the world of nature and beyond. It is about being while the male is about doing - night and day, moon and sun. The female creates and the male enacts what she has created.

Our world, everywhere we look, we can see the domination of the male energy and usually not in its benevolent state: look at the conflicts which are proliferating, military, economic, political, environmental and social, they are all symptoms of the negative use of that energy and the obscuring of the peaceful feminine, and until the imbalance is rectified their will be no mass ascension for humanity. Spirit and Gaia, however, are giving us opportunity after opportunity to learn through experience and example that the old ways of doing no longer work, and that there is a better way, and I know we will see reform before long.

As wars rumble on and chaos and confusion reign, today is a day for being, for remembering and using the feminine energy which is within all of us, for by so doing we will develop it, and it is much needed at this time. Whether you have the body of a man or a woman you can do this. You are the Mother of the World, and She is waiting to return to service.
