The new Mini Ice Age heralds the new Era

I have had a number of caring messages from friends and clients expressing concern about my welfare in the wintry conditions of Wales, which have warmed my heart each and every one.

My situation, compared to others, is fortunate and I am grateful for the opportunities this enforced seclusion gives me. I know, however, that many people and creatures are suffering hardship and extreme discomfort, and hopes and dreams are being shattered all over the world. 

There is talk that this icy winter has been precipitated by solar activity and that it may mark the start of a mini-ice age lasting two or three hundred years. If this is true, it will mean a radical re-appraisal of how we live and behave, hopefully not defensive but seeing it as a chance to move to a new way of living and being, divorced from attachment to how it was. It is time for more simplicity and acceptance in our lives and for greater co-operation with nature. This is what the New Age is all about.

This is such a special period in the spiritual calendar as the Solstice and Christmas (the energy of which affects everyone whether Christian or not) approach. If we can, despite the weather, let us remember the significance of this time while we pray for those who truly suffer.
