Copenhagen

Another new moon, and I have a sense that this phase brings opportunities to identify and tie up loose ends once and for all, though there may be confusion and distractions as part of this.  It is like watching a pot getting ready to come to the boil, with agitation and movement hidden beneath the surface until the temperature is right for them to come to the surface and be visible - and then we can remove any "scum" and be left with clarity.

Iti s no coincidence that the Copenhagen summit is reaching its climax at this time.  The splits and disarray are on view now, and while there is likely to be a semblance of agreement issued by the end, I believe it will be judged to be a small plaster over a gaping wound.  However, the strength of feeling expressed by developing countries, those who will be affected directly by climate change, and those who wish to hep the Planet has been powerfully and embarassingly (for proponents of the status quo) expressed.

This pot is getting ready to boil, and to boil over if necessary.  While by the end of this week there may seem to be just a placebo agreement which means little in practice, something has been initiated at this great gathering which will be unstoppable, and it is marvellous.
