The real meaning of ascension
The greatest challenge for each of us is to reconcile the separation we have created between the spiritual and the human aspect within us.
Ever since the seeds of human life were planted on this planet far, far further back in time than our historians believe,we have struggled between the pull of the world of matter and the longing of the soul for recognition, not realising that ultimately the two are one. Our goal is, when we are ready, to integrate the two joyfully, willingly and permanently. Having experienced the extremes of materialism and of spirituality during our long soul journey the opportunity to achieve this is with us now.
As above, so below, and of course what we are experiencing personally is reflected more widely both within the human race, globally, and cosmically. It is no coincidence that the last few weeks have seen major climatic disturbances affecting many parts of the world with extremes of heat, flooding, fire and earth movement just as some of the most remarkable astrological and astronomical events in memory are occurring. Indeed, as above, so below literally....we are being reminded of the polarisation between spirit and matter, but also being told that it is a sign of that polarisation and separation coming to an end.
When we are able to integrate the divine and the human and to live in this blissful state, truly as ourselves in every sense, it will be reflected at every level beyond us - above and below, affecting the animal, plant and mineral kingdoms as well as the higher dimensions. The planet will be at peace and will not need to express herself through eruptions and disturbances as she is doing now. All on earth and earth herself will be vibrating to a higher frequency as a result of this coming together. This is what ascension really means.
I have no doubt that this will happen, nor that I will see it, in my lifetime.

I may sound simplistic, but, for Gaia to hear this statement on the TV news, well, I suppose it won’t go down very well… On the other side of the climate debate, there are those who claim that no matter what we do now with CO2 emissions, it is too late for catastrophic global warming. I believe, that between these two positions, it is our attitude and intent that can play a crucial role. If we were to say, “OK, we may not be able to prove exactly what will happen to the earth with our 1 trillion ton gases (and nearest to absolute “proving” in science means conducting a experiment under controlled conditions-we can’t afford to experiment with the earth), but we understand that we need to respectfully refrain ourselves from our excess and try our best now, however little or late it is argued to be”. I believe that the sheer change in intent, and therefore frequency, would bring about a big impact,even before it translates itself into action or numbers in emission cuts.
