Rainbows

Written by Claire Montanaro.

For the past four days, every day at about midday the strongest, most complete, most colourful and most powerful rainbow I have ever seen has displayed itself, always in the same place. One end of the rainbow is anchored in the foothills of the mountains just beyond my village, and the other end disappears into the water meadow beyond the river and opposite my home.  The arc of the rainbow is straight before me, framing the river and the line of the Cambrian Mountains, with the small village community in the middle.

It has been an extraordinary and a moving sight.  It has appeared as tempestuous weather has swirled all around and the waters of the Wye have been roaring through the valley.  Even though I have seen no sunshine the rainbow has shone brightly, and has lingered intact for perhaps a half hour before suddenly disappearing.  For me it has been a symbol of safety and protection, a message that no matter what the uncertainties of our world, now or to come, we are guided and guarded, and all is well.

A Universal Law...

The law of Polarity could also be caused the Law of Opposites.  Everything has an opposite, and if we find ourselves with a negative thought or emotion we can change it by focusing on the opposite to it.
