Solar Powered Planes

It was wonderful to hear reports this morning about the plane that will fly around the world using nothing but solar power - when technological glitches allow, hopefully later this month.  What was particularly encouraging was that the designers see it as an opportunity not just to revolutionise the airline industry but also to promote the concept of solar power far more widely, in all applications where power of some sort is necessary.

This is so important.  It is not for me to try to influence what happens in a way that might change the karmic outcome - that is down to decision-makers, investers and entrepreneurs and the choices they make - but I can and do send my good wishes to the project and my hope that it will be used wisely, for the greater good.
