Plundering Earth

As I write, a tanker is leaking thousands of gallons of oil into the seas off Singapore, and arguments are becoming more forceful between different countries over drilling rights in environmentally pristine parts of the world.

Another way of expressing it is that they are arguing over the life-blood of the planet, and so oil can be seen to be a catalyst which will determine what happens to the soul of humanity, depending on how far man will see sense and act "humanely".

It is not too late for our attitude towards our right to plunder Earth as we are doing, to change.  The choice is there, and I pray we use it wisely.
