Wesak is coming...

Here where I am it is calm and still with a great sense of peace.  It is as if all the hoo-ha to do with the British election and the European economies just don't matter - and in the greater scheme of things they don't.  They are a means to an inevitable end - or perhaps it would be more accurate to say beginning.

In the short term what is more important is that the great festival of Wesak takes place on Wednesday at 1320 BST.  It may be that the anticipation and proximity of the event is what is causing this feeling of detachment.  It is such a wonderful time always, and as Lord Buddha prepares to join us once again, fleetingly, the world of nature feels the imminence too and responds with joy.

I have recorded a special meditation for Wesak, guided by the Master who leads the Wesak ritual.  It will be available through the Store hopefully from tomorrow.   Having given them for free until now, I am introducing a small charge to obtain future meditations and channellings to cover the costs of providing them.  I hope you understand.  There will be discounts for members of the Community, and I will from time to time offer a meditation without any charge.
