Sunrise

Yesterday the dawn, today the sunrise.  My sleep last night was accompanied by the sounds of heavy rain and the thundering waters of the River Wye tumbling through the Cambrian mountains, and it was quite a shock to wake to a cold, clear, calm, beautiful morning, the sun just emerging in a red sky with the waning moon still visible.  I often marvel at the variety of conditions we have in our small country, and was struck again by the contrast between the weather here in mid-Wales today and the record-breaking warmth of London, as reported on the News.  Perhaps the British tendency to talk about the weather is not so unjustified after all.

It is a strange feeling to be writing in the knowledge that my website is live today - its sunrise - , and that one or two people may read these words.  My intention in offering a new site is to be able to connect more directly with anyone who finds their way here, and to provide as best I can what may help their spiritual  journey.  I hope that what you see here is helpful, but I recognise also that it is just the beginning... 

So, if anyone has ideas about what would be a helpful addition or development, then I would love to have them.  There is a forum for this purpose, and any (constructive) feedback would be much appreciated, including about any glitches or difficulties you may experience as the technology beds in.

Time to get on with this wonder-ful day.....
